Getting involved at Church

There are many ways to get involved in our church family.  The majority of the services that we are able to provide as a church is based upon volunteerism.  Our intention is to use this page to list many of the ways that you may contribute your gifts & talents to the church, the local community and the world at  large.  Some  of these ways may require membership but the majority do not, and you may be surprised at just how easy it is to get involved!

This is not a complete list of ways you can be involved in church. Try & spread your wings at other ways to also be involved.  On an annual basis we provide an opportunity for church goers to fill out a questionaire where your talents and desires to serve the church can be made privately.  We welcome anyone with a desire to serve to contacts us at any time.  Won't you please come & join with us?

This page has been created in order to expedite prayer requests between CEPAD Nicaragua and our Lake Michigan Presbytery.  We have received the following prayer requests from our sister city, Nueva Guinea, and ask that you hold the following people up in prayer:
  1. Amaro,  Isidra Urbina Davila's husband, was in a serious accident and will be receiving physical therapy.  Please pray for healing for his seriously injured leg in order that he can work again.  Isidra is the CEPAD Director in Nueva guinea.\
  2.  Prayers for Marti, the daughter of Arsenio and Juana Alvir, who has ovarian cysts.  Please pray for healing.
  3.  A special request for payers for the Pastoral Committee, which is having difficulties getting ministers to serve in their rural communities.
Please make your congregation aware of these prayer requests, and also inform us of any special prayer needs your congregation might have.  We hope to exchange prayer requests with our sister churches in Nueva Guinea monthly.  By keeping each other in prayer, we will constantly be reminded of our commitment to one another.

Please send us your church's CEPAD prayer request and be sure to include in the subject line of your prayer request "Cepad Prayer Request".  You may include more than one prayer request in a single message.
